Digital cultural platform conquers Europe<\/h2>\n

Die digitale Kulturplattform Discover Culture gewinnt mit dem KHM-Museumsverband und dessen bedeutenden kaiserlichen Sammlungen einen neuen starken Partner hinzu. Ein gelungener Auftakt zur weltweiten Vermarktung, hei\u00dft es von den beiden Plattform-Gr\u00fcndern \u2013 dem Benediktinerstift Admont und der LightCyde GmbH.<\/p>\n

\u201eDie Zeit ist reif. Dessen waren wir uns absolut sicher, als wir im Februar eine digitale Kulturplattform ins Rennen geschickt haben, die es weltweit in dieser Form kein zweites Mal gibt\u201c, sagt Abt Gerhard Hafner vom Benediktinerstift Admont. Mit dieser Einsch\u00e4tzung hat man voll ins Schwarze getroffen. Schon nach wenigen Monaten \u201esind unsere Seitenaufrufe f\u00f6rmlich explodiert\u201c, best\u00e4tigt Thomas Fischbacher. Sein Software-Unternehmen \u201eLightCyde\u201c hat die Plattform entwickelt. Kein Wunder, schlie\u00dflich b\u00fcndelt Discover Culture (www.discover-culture.com<\/a>) das digitalisierte Angebot namhafter Kulturinstitutionen. \u201eDie Anzahl unserer Partner hat sich in den vergangenen Monaten vervielfacht, was sich auch auf den au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Werbewert zur\u00fcckf\u00fchren l\u00e4sst. Eine derart hohe Reichweite zu erzielen, ist schlie\u00dflich nur dann m\u00f6glich, wenn sich viele Kulturinstitutionen zusammentun, wie es bei Discover Culture der Fall ist\u201c,\u00a0 er\u00f6ffnet Mario Brandm\u00fcller, Stift Admonts Leiter der Abteilung f\u00fcr Tourismus, Kultur und PR.<\/p>\n

Hochkar\u00e4tiger Neuzugang bei Discover Culture<\/h3>\n

Hochkar\u00e4tiger Neuzugang auf der Plattform Discover Culture ist der KHM-Museumsverband. Zum Start seiner Videoreihe wird ab Sommer eine Highlight-Tour durch die Gem\u00e4ldegalerie des Kunsthistorischen Museums verf\u00fcgbar sein. Im Laufe der n\u00e4chsten Monate folgen dann weitere Touren durch die Kaiserliche Schatzkammer Wien und das Weltmuseum Wien. Dazu kommen die Kaiserliche Wagenburg in Sch\u00f6nbrunn mit einem Schwerpunkt zu Kaiserin Sisi sowie ein Ausflug nach Innsbruck ins Schloss Ambras. Alle Touren werden in deutscher Sprache sowie in einer synchronisierten Version auf Englisch, Russisch, Chinesisch und Japanisch verf\u00fcgbar sein.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ab Mitte August erwartet die NutzerInnen von Discover Culture zudem ein besonderer Vorgeschmack. Eine virtuelle Tour durch den hochkar\u00e4tigen Tizian-Saal im Kunsthistorischen Museum stimmt n\u00e4mlich auf die gro\u00dfe Sonderausstellung \u201eTizians Frauenbild\u201c im Herbst 2021 ein.<\/p>\n

Kick-off for international marketing<\/h3>\n

In addition to numerous Austrian partnerships, the first international co-operation has now been concluded with the Princely House of Schaumburg-Lippe. B\u00fcckeburg Castle will soon be virtualised. The aristocratic family's residence will go online as a virtual tour on the Discover Culture platform in the coming weeks. \"We see great potential in the fact that with the latest technologies in the virtual realm, visitors can be provided with previously untouchable experiences. Together with the Discover Culture platform, we have visualised the future and are excited to be a part of this technological advancement. We believe that visitors to our tours can now have regular and instant experiences with B\u00fcckeburg Castle that would be difficult or even impossible in real life. This makes our family home one of the first of many backdrops for endless possibilities that could only be rivalled by our own creativity,\" says SHD Donatus Erbprinz zu Schaumburg-Lippe.<\/p>\n

Der erste Schritt \u00fcber \u00d6sterreichs Grenzen hinaus ist also gegl\u00fcckt. Das Tor zum europ\u00e4ischen Markt steht hiermit offen. Nach Europa will man verst\u00e4rkt den asiatischen und amerikanischen Markt bearbeiten. Die Prognosen sind gut. Goldman Sachs ist ein weltweit t\u00e4tiges Investmentbanking- und Wertpapierunternehmen.
