Medical care secured for Admont<\/h2>\n

The continued existence of the health centre in Admont has now been agreed and care for the population is assured. General medical care in the ultra-modern and fully equipped health centre on the grounds of Admont Abbey will initially be provided by the team from the Liezen Health Centre (PVE Liezen). This is a temporary interim solution until a permanent long-term solution is found.<\/p>\n

\"I am very pleased that we have now been able to work out an interim solution for medical care in Admont together with the doctors at PVE Liezen, the municipality, the Health Fund and \u00d6GK. We are currently working intensively on a long-term solution,\" says Regional Health Councillor Juliane Bogner Strau\u00df and promises \"to continue paying the Health Fund subsidies in full.\"<\/p>\n

Social insurance, represented by the Austrian Health Insurance Fund, will continue to pay doctors as before and proactively support this transitional solution.<\/p>\n

The doctors currently working at the Admont health centre, Dr Eva Maria and Dr Oliver Petz, will be running the health centre up to and including Friday 31 March 2023. During the Easter week, a basic cleaning will be carried out, the existing equipment will be adapted and the PVE Liezen team will be trained for the new conditions on site.<\/p>\n

From Tuesday, 11 April 2023, the Admont site will be managed by the \"PVE Liezen\" team. This team has already earned a good reputation nationwide for its competent and well-organised practice. The team for Admont will be supported by a number of locum doctors from the region. The current employees of the Admont health centre will continue to work there and the existing lease will be continued.<\/p>\n

The solution is initially limited to six months.<\/p>\n

Opening hours from 11 April 2023:\u00a0<\/strong> Monday to Friday 07:30 to 12:30, and in the afternoons as required and by prior arrangement.<\/p>\n
