Se trata de Hannes Schwarz (1926-2014) y Gustav Zankl (*1929). Su juventud se caracteriz\u00f3 por su exposici\u00f3n a la ideolog\u00eda nazi. Lo que ambos ten\u00edan en com\u00fan era que se les daba bien dibujar. Hannes Schwarz fue elegido para asistir a una escuela nazi de \u00e9lite por su talento. Su formaci\u00f3n como artista termin\u00f3 cuando fue reclutado para la brutal guerra, que le enfrent\u00f3 a la muerte y a la agon\u00eda. A Gustav Zankl, en cambio, se le deneg\u00f3 la admisi\u00f3n en una escuela de ingenier\u00eda por rebeld\u00eda. Los pocos a\u00f1os de nacimiento posteriores le permitieron no tener que participar activamente en la guerra militar. Pero el adoctrinamiento, los castigos por conducta desviada y todo el estr\u00e9s psicol\u00f3gico tambi\u00e9n dejaron profundas cicatrices en \u00e9l.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t<section class=\"firepress-section firepress-content firepress-section--background firepress-section--background-beige\"\n\t\t\n\t\tdata-firepress-content\n\t\tdata-firepress-lightbox-group>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"firepress-content__inner\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"firepress-content__grid firepress-content__grid--one-half\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"firepress-content__box firepress-content__box--one\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"prose\"><p class=\"paragraph-m\">En los a\u00f1os posteriores a la guerra, ambos decidieron convertirse en profesores y educadores art\u00edsticos. Schwarz ense\u00f1\u00f3 en Weiz, Zankl en Graz despu\u00e9s de trabajar como ingeniero. Y siguieron activos como artistas. En 1953, se organiz\u00f3 una exposici\u00f3n del \"Junge Gruppe\" en Weiz, lejos de Graz, donde los descendientes de la Secesi\u00f3n de Graz no encontraron inicialmente cabida. En Weiz, sus composiciones abstractas fueron rechazadas. Eran los a\u00f1os posteriores al r\u00e9gimen nazi y el concepto propagandizado del arte tuvo un efecto duradero.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Tras estos primeros a\u00f1os, continuaron desarrollando su arte. En la d\u00e9cada de 1960, Hannes Schwarz centr\u00f3 su atenci\u00f3n en la figura humana, los horrores de la existencia terrenal, el dolor, los miedos, las heridas y la soledad. Las im\u00e1genes de personas maltratadas y sufrientes en camas de hospital sobre un fondo negro y vac\u00edo as\u00ed lo atestiguan. O coloca figuras humanas sentadas a una mesa redonda, a gran distancia unas de otras. Sus cuerpos est\u00e1n cubiertos de cicatrices y heridas. La serie \"Figuras entre rejas\" muestra cuerpos deformes y sangrantes entre rejas negras. Es esta exposici\u00f3n de las personas al mundo lo que el reflexivo Schwarz, caracterizado por pensamientos filos\u00f3ficos de existencialismo, expresa en sus obras de gran formato. Para \u00e9l, arte significa investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica. A partir de la d\u00e9cada de 1960, su investigaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica del color se manifest\u00f3 en objetos art\u00edsticos que son m\u00f3viles, como las obras del ciclo \"Cluster of Information\" (2007). Se trata en su mayor\u00eda de paneles o cuerpos de madera contrachapada pintados cuyas combinaciones de colores se basan en c\u00e1lculos precisos. La participaci\u00f3n es la m\u00e1xima premisa art\u00edstica de Zankl. Como \u00e9l mismo escribe, sus objetos art\u00edsticos pretenden animar a los espectadores a \"pasar a la acci\u00f3n\" y \"ampliar su potencial emocional e intelectual\".<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Zankl expuso en 2015 el \"Racimo de informaci\u00f3n\" en el Centro Hannes Schwarz de Weiz. Este ciclo de obras fue adquirido por el monasterio en 2022, por lo que este a\u00f1o se puede ver una yuxtaposici\u00f3n de las obras y los diferentes enfoques art\u00edsticos de los dos artistas de Estiria, demostrando una vez m\u00e1s una idea central en la estrategia expositiva de las dos \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas: Entrar en di\u00e1logo. El arte expresivo se encuentra con el arte concreto, ambos con el objetivo de conmovernos emocionalmente.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">En 2024 se cumple el d\u00e9cimo aniversario de la muerte de Hannes Schwarz.
