Le th\u00e8me de base de ce cycle de sept tableaux est le lien intime entre la religion, les arts et les sciences.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\">La r\u00e9v\u00e9lation<\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Le th\u00e8me de la R\u00e9v\u00e9lation, fondement de la religion chr\u00e9tienne, se trouve dans la grande coupole centrale. Au centre de cette image tr\u00f4ne la sagesse divine personnifi\u00e9e. \u00c0 sa gauche, Mo\u00efse est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en tant que repr\u00e9sentant de l'Ancien Testament et \u00e0 sa droite se trouve une figure f\u00e9minine portant la tiare, une personnification de l'\u00c9glise en tant que repr\u00e9sentante de la Nouvelle Alliance. Apollon, dieu de la po\u00e9sie et de la lumi\u00e8re, est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au centre et tr\u00f4ne au-dessus des neuf muses. La sculpture, la musique et la peinture sont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re all\u00e9gorique comme des figures f\u00e9minines. La deuxi\u00e8me vo\u00fbte est consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la m\u00e9decine et aux sciences naturelles. Le personnage principal est un homme v\u00eatu du thalar des docteurs et portant un b\u00e2ton d'Esculape, qui remet une ordonnance \u00e0 un personnage f\u00e9minin personnifiant la pharmacie. Autour de ce groupe principal se trouvent les personnifications d'autres sciences naturelles, telles que la physique, la min\u00e9ralogie, l'astronomie, la g\u00e9ographie et l'arithm\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">La troisi\u00e8me fresque repr\u00e9sente la th\u00e9ologie et la religion. Au centre, la th\u00e9ologie personnifi\u00e9e est une figure f\u00e9minine avec le soleil sur la poitrine. \u00c0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s se trouvent la colombe du Saint-Esprit et une femme qui symboliserait la \"v\u00e9rit\u00e9\". En dessous, toujours sous la forme de femmes, sont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es les trois vertus divines que sont la foi, l'esp\u00e9rance et la charit\u00e9. L'Apocalypse, en tant que centre et point culminant, est visible dans la coupole centrale vo\u00fbt\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"firepress-content__box firepress-content__box--two\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"prose\"><h5 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\">Jurisprudence<\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">La cinqui\u00e8me fresque repr\u00e9sente la jurisprudence avec ses deux all\u00e9gories du droit spirituel et s\u00e9culier. Au-dessus, flotte un g\u00e9nie tenant une balance, symbole bien connu de la justice. Au centre de la sixi\u00e8me fresque de la coupole, qui exprime de mani\u00e8re all\u00e9gorique la recherche historique, se trouvent un g\u00e9nie ail\u00e9 et une figure f\u00e9minine qui pointe vers une corbeille port\u00e9e par des putti et contenant une quantit\u00e9 de livres d\u00e9sordonn\u00e9s, sans doute pour symboliser les multiples sources de l'histoire. En dessous, Chronos est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme le dieu du temps.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\">\u00c9veil de l'esprit<\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">La septi\u00e8me coupole, qui marque la fin de ce cycle pictural, est consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l'\u00e9veil de l'esprit \u00e0 la pens\u00e9e et \u00e0 la parole. Au centre du tableau se trouve Aurora, la d\u00e9esse de l'aurore. Elle est pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e d'un flambeau \u00e9clair\u00e9 qui doit chasser les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres et donc, au sens figur\u00e9, l'ignorance. \u00c0 sa gauche comme \u00e0 sa droite se trouvent les personnifications de la \"grammaire et de la dialectique\", discipline fondamentale de la ma\u00eetrise de la langue et de la vivacit\u00e9 d'esprit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\t<section class=\"firepress-section
