Depuis son ouverture en 2003, il est connu pour la diversit\u00e9 inattendue qu'il offre \u00e0 ses visiteurs, souvent \u00e9tonn\u00e9s. Le projet d'extension a englob\u00e9 le grand projet de mus\u00e9e, la r\u00e9novation des espaces ext\u00e9rieurs, l'installation d'un restaurant moderne et l'extension de l'aile \u00e9conomique, de la pharmacie ainsi que des ailes est et sud. L'image de l'abbaye d'Admont s'en est trouv\u00e9e consid\u00e9rablement modifi\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re positive.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">La r\u00e9alisation de ce projet s'est appuy\u00e9e sur les collections existantes du mus\u00e9e, sur le succ\u00e8s de l'exploitation \u00e9conomique de l'abbaye, mais aussi sur le nombre croissant de visiteurs, qui suscitait l'espoir. Et derri\u00e8re tout cela, il y avait l'intention, toujours valable aujourd'hui, de transmettre l'esprit b\u00e9n\u00e9dictin dans le mus\u00e9e, de pr\u00e9server un bien culturel important et de le rendre accessible \u00e0 un large public. L'animation de la r\u00e9gion et la cr\u00e9ation d'emplois \u00e9taient \u00e9galement des objectifs clairs.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">En 1999, la r\u00e9alisation des plans m\u00fbris a commenc\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s cinq ans de travaux, le nouveau mus\u00e9e de l'abbaye d'Admont a ouvert ses portes en 2003. Il est situ\u00e9 au c\u0153ur de l'Autriche, dans un paysage \u00e0 couper le souffle, \u00e0 l'entr\u00e9e du parc national du Ges\u00e4use. Sous un m\u00eame toit se trouvent l'art du Moyen-\u00c2ge \u00e0 nos jours, un mus\u00e9e historique d'histoire naturelle et l'exp\u00e9rience de la plus grande biblioth\u00e8que monastique du monde. Les nombreux visiteurs du mus\u00e9e ont \u00e9t\u00e9 surpris par le dialogue vivant entre tradition et innovation ainsi que par l'\u00e9norme diversit\u00e9 de l'offre mus\u00e9ale - et le sont encore aujourd'hui.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Beaucoup de choses se sont pass\u00e9es au cours des 23 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. En 1997, le d\u00e9partement culturel a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 sous la direction artistique de Michael Braunsteiner et la conception du contenu du nouveau mus\u00e9e a commenc\u00e9. C'est \u00e9galement cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0 qu'a \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9e la premi\u00e8re pierre de la constitution de la collection d'art contemporain. Celle-ci comprend aujourd'hui plus de 1000 \u0153uvres d'art autrichien des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations d'apr\u00e8s-guerre dans les genres les plus divers. La fili\u00e8re MADE FOR ADMONT a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e et la collection sp\u00e9ciale JENSEITS DES SEHENS - KUNST VERBINDET BLINDE UND SEHENDE a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablie.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t<section class=\"firepress-section firepress-content\"\n\t\t\n\t\tdata-firepress-content\n\t\tdata-firepress-lightbox-group>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"firepress-content__inner\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"firepress-content__grid firepress-content__grid--one-half\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"firepress-content__box firepress-content__box--one\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"prose\"><p class=\"paragraph-m\">Entre 2005 et 2008, la biblioth\u00e8que de l'abbaye d'Admont a fait l'objet d'une restauration compl\u00e8te de grande envergure. L'ann\u00e9e de sa r\u00e9ouverture en 2008 a \u00e9t\u00e9 accompagn\u00e9e d'expositions sp\u00e9ciales et a \u00e9t\u00e9 celle qui a accueilli le plus de visiteurs dans toute l'histoire de notre mus\u00e9e. Nous ne pouvons toutefois pas passer sous silence le coup dur subi en 2014 : la menace pesant sur le pr\u00e9cieux fonds de livres de la biblioth\u00e8que en raison d'une attaque d'insectes nuisibles totalement inattendue. Tous les stades de vie des parasites du mus\u00e9e (col\u00e9opt\u00e8res, larves, nymphes et \u0153ufs ou larves) ont d\u00fb \u00eatre combattus \u00e0 grands frais et 70 000 livres ont d\u00fb \u00eatre nettoy\u00e9s. Finalement, cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 possible au cours des ann\u00e9es suivantes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">L'abb\u00e9 Gerhard Hafner a permis au mus\u00e9e de s'agrandir consid\u00e9rablement. Le collectionneur et m\u00e9c\u00e8ne d'art du Vorarlberg Kuno Erich Mayer a enrichi l'abbaye d'Admont d'abord par des pr\u00eats, puis par la donation de tr\u00e9sors d'art m\u00e9di\u00e9val provenant de la partie sacr\u00e9e de sa vaste collection priv\u00e9e d'art gothique de renomm\u00e9e internationale. Depuis 2017, l'exposition permanente du mus\u00e9e gothique, sp\u00e9cialement adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 cet effet, enthousiasme les visiteurs d'ici et d'ailleurs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">En 2021 et 2022, deux importantes expositions sur le th\u00e8me \"Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric III &amp; Maximilien Ier\" ont eu lieu dans les salles adjacentes du nouveau mus\u00e9e gothique dans l'aile est - avec plus de 200 objets pr\u00eat\u00e9s et dans des espaces enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9adapt\u00e9s selon les crit\u00e8res mus\u00e9ographiques les plus stricts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa large offre, y compris en mati\u00e8re d'expositions temporaires et de manifestations culturelles, notre mus\u00e9e attire chaque ann\u00e9e depuis 2003 entre 50.000 visiteurs dans les ann\u00e9es moins fastes et 80.000 dans les ann\u00e9es fastes. Notre mus\u00e9e a su r\u00e9agir correctement en temps de crise (crise financi\u00e8re mondiale 2007-08, pand\u00e9mie) et les a bien surmont\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce aux d\u00e9cisions judicieuses prises par la direction de l'abbaye, dirig\u00e9e depuis 2017 par l'abb\u00e9 Gerhard Hafner, le prieur P. Maximilian et, depuis 2019, par le directeur \u00e9conomique Franz Pichler. Le pr\u00e9sent journal du mus\u00e9e vous informe sur les activit\u00e9s et les expositions de cette ann\u00e9e dans et autour du mus\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p
