Les premi\u00e8res nonnes venaient probablement du Nonnberg \u00e0 Salzbourg. Elles vivaient dans une cl\u00f4ture stricte sur la rive gauche de l'Admontbach, jusqu'\u00e0 ce que l'abb\u00e9 Gottfried fasse construire en 1144 des b\u00e2timents plus grands avec une \u00e9glise au sud du monast\u00e8re masculin. Une magistra \u00e9tait charg\u00e9e de la direction interne du monast\u00e8re de nonnes. Non seulement elle, mais toutes les nonnes se distinguaient par une grande \u00e9ducation, une pi\u00e9t\u00e9 exemplaire et une activit\u00e9 litt\u00e9raire, comme en t\u00e9moignent les nombreuses sources.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Non seulement ils r\u00e9dig\u00e8rent eux-m\u00eames de nombreux manuscrits dans leur biblioth\u00e8que, mais ils \u00e9chang\u00e8rent \u00e9galement une abondante correspondance, comme avec le pr\u00e9v\u00f4t Gerhoh de Reichersberg. De nombreux textes de ce type ont \u00e9t\u00e9 conserv\u00e9s dans des codices d'Admont. Un certain nombre de ces manuscrits, aujourd'hui conserv\u00e9s dans les archives de l'abbaye, peuvent \u00eatre clairement attribu\u00e9s \u00e0 la biblioth\u00e8que du monast\u00e8re f\u00e9minin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Sous l'abb\u00e9 commendataire d'Admont Christoph Rauber (1508-1536), la communaut\u00e9 f\u00e9minine commen\u00e7a finalement \u00e0 d\u00e9cliner compl\u00e8tement, et les id\u00e9es de la R\u00e9forme eurent \u00e9galement un impact. Les nonnes quitt\u00e8rent le couvent et se mari\u00e8rent ; en 1550, il y avait quatre femmes dans le couvent, en 1562 plus que deux. En 1570, le couvent des femmes fut d\u00e9clar\u00e9 inhabitable, en 1582, Benigna Zwickl, la derni\u00e8re nonne, mourut dans une maison du march\u00e9 d'Admont.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">L'exposition 2023 ne se contente pas de mettre en lumi\u00e8re l'histoire du monast\u00e8re de nonnes jusqu'\u00e0 sa dissolution vers 1580, elle pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement des manuscrits magnifiquement con\u00e7us issus de la production de livres du scriptorium d'Admont.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\t<section class=\"firepress-section
