Cette magnifique exposition gothique, qui repose en grande partie sur une donation, r\u00e9pond \u00e0 un regain d'int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les sculptures sacr\u00e9es de la fin du Moyen \u00c2ge, dont s\u00e9lection de chefs-d'\u0153uvre du gothique tardif r\u00e9unie dans cette exposition - allant entre autres des \"Belles Madones\" - vers 1400 jusqu'\u00e0 Niklaus Weckmann d'Ulm et le ma\u00eetre du Tyrol du Sud Hans Klocker de Brixen - ne peut donner qu'un aper\u00e7u succinct d'une \u00e9poque qui compte parmi les plus riches et les plus f\u00e9condes de notre pass\u00e9 historique et Les objets expos\u00e9s de la collection Kuno Mayer sont le r\u00e9sultat visible d'ann\u00e9es d'activit\u00e9 dans le commerce d'art sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9. Elles poursuivent un objectif d'utilit\u00e9 publique, \u00e0 savoir \u00e9veiller l'int\u00e9r\u00eat permanent d'une large couche de la population pour l'art du Moyen-\u00c2ge.
