Ce qui frappe, c'est la faible moyenne d'\u00e2ge. Certains religieux ont \u00e0 peine trente ans. Le fr\u00e8re Markus Kraemer est encore plus jeune. Il a fait sa profession temporaire \u00e0 l'\u00e2ge de vingt-neuf ans. Une promesse de s'attacher au monast\u00e8re pendant trois ans. Comme il le dit, il a ressenti le d\u00e9sir de devenir pr\u00eatre d\u00e8s son enfance. \u00c9v\u00e9nement cl\u00e9 : l'enterrement de la m\u00e8re de sa marraine. \"C'est \u00e0 cette occasion que j'ai ressenti pour la premi\u00e8re fois l'esp\u00e9rance chr\u00e9tienne\", se souvient le fr\u00e8re Markus. Malgr\u00e9 son d\u00e9sir initial de carri\u00e8re, il a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l'\u00e9conomie d'entreprise. Ce n'est que plus tard qu'il a opt\u00e9 pour la th\u00e9ologie. Et ce, \"bien qu'\u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0, il ne savait pas encore o\u00f9 il voulait aller\", raconte le fr\u00e8re Markus. Pourquoi a-t-il finalement opt\u00e9 pour la vie monastique ? \"Parce qu'il n'aurait jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 question pour moi d'\u00eatre pr\u00eatre dans un dioc\u00e8se. J'avais tout simplement trop peur de la solitude. Au monast\u00e8re, je ne suis pas seul. Ici, il y a beaucoup de gens avec lesquels je vis et je prie ensemble. C'est tr\u00e8s familial\". Y avait-il aussi des raisons qui s'y opposaient ? \"Oui, la grande distance entre le monast\u00e8re et la maison de mes parents\".\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9 et \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00e0 Bonn, l'entr\u00e9e au monast\u00e8re b\u00e9n\u00e9dictin d'Admont a \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand pas pour le fr\u00e8re Markus, m\u00eame d'un point de vue g\u00e9ographique : \"La sant\u00e9 de mon p\u00e8re n'est pas tr\u00e8s bonne et si son \u00e9tat devait se d\u00e9t\u00e9riorer, je ne serais pas au coin de la rue\". La raison pour laquelle il a malgr\u00e9 tout opt\u00e9 pour la vie monastique \u00e0 Admont est la confiance en Dieu, comme il le dit : \"Je suis s\u00fbr qu'il est l\u00e0 pour tout r\u00e9gler si je ne peux pas le faire\".<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t<section class=\"firepress-section firepress-content\"\n\t\t\n\t\tdata-firepress-content\n\t\tdata-firepress-lightbox-group>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"firepress-content__inner\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"firepress-content__grid firepress-content__grid--one-half\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"firepress-content__box firepress-content__box--one\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"prose\"><h5 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\"><strong>Trouver une t\u00e2che\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La confiance en Dieu a \u00e9galement renforc\u00e9 le fr\u00e8re Georg Roth dans sa d\u00e9cision de mener une vie de moine. Ce W\u00fcrzbourgeois est entr\u00e9 au monast\u00e8re \u00e0 l'\u00e2ge de vingt-quatre ans. C'\u00e9tait il y a huit ans. A l'\u00e9poque, son choix s'\u00e9tait port\u00e9 sur un ordre religieux encore jeune en Autriche. Mais \"au fil des ann\u00e9es, j'ai constat\u00e9 que ma conception de la patrie ne correspondait pas \u00e0 celle de l'ordre. J'ai donc m\u00fbri la d\u00e9cision de passer dans une autre communaut\u00e9\", explique le fr\u00e8re Georg. Il l'a trouv\u00e9e dans le monast\u00e8re b\u00e9n\u00e9dictin d'Admont : \"J'appr\u00e9cie le lien entre le spirituel et le pratique\". Une combinaison qui d\u00e9coule de la r\u00e8gle de saint Beno\u00eet : Ora et labora et lege. Prie, travaille et lis. \"C'est beau d'\u00eatre port\u00e9 par la pri\u00e8re commune et de pouvoir en m\u00eame temps exercer une t\u00e2che au sein de l'ordre\", explique le fr\u00e8re Georg. Dans son cas, ce n'est pas seulement une t\u00e2che, mais plusieurs que le futur th\u00e9ologien ambitionne d'accomplir. Une fois ses \u00e9tudes termin\u00e9es, Frater Georg veut travailler comme pr\u00eatre et p\u00e9dagogue religieux. Mais ce n'est qu'apr\u00e8s une formation de m\u00e9canicien industriel qu'il a retrouv\u00e9 sa vocation. Y avait-il pour lui aussi des raisons qui s'opposaient \u00e0 une entr\u00e9e au monast\u00e8re ? Oui, il y en a eu, confirme le fr\u00e8re Thomas : \"Je savais que je ne rencontrerais plus aussi souvent ma famille et mes amis. La d\u00e9cision de vivre au monast\u00e8re n'a donc vraiment pas \u00e9t\u00e9 facile \u00e0 prendre, c'est pourquoi j'ai aussi eu besoin d'un temps de r\u00e9flexion\". La s\u00e9paration a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 difficile pour ses parents et ses fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs, explique le fr\u00e8re Georg. \"Comme je sais \u00e0 quel point cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 difficile au d\u00e9but pour ma famille de se voir moins souvent, je suis d'autant plus reconnaissant de voir \u00e0 quel point ils soutiennent ma vocation de pr\u00eatre et de religieux\".<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\"><strong>R\u00e9pondre \u00e0 l'appel de Dieu<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Et qu'en est-il du d\u00e9sir de fonder sa propre famille ? La r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 cette question est surprenante : \"Cela n'a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 un sujet de discussion pour moi\", dit le fr\u00e8re Georg sans d\u00e9tour. Mais pour le fr\u00e8re Markus, comme il le dit lui-m\u00eame : \"Bien s\u00fbr, on se pose aussi la question de savoir si on veut un jour fonder une famille. Mais si Dieu nous appelle, il faut aussi y r\u00e9pondre. Je veux m'engager dans cette voie. Et si la cons\u00e9quence est de ne pas avoir sa propre famille, alors tant pis. En fin de compte, en tant que moine, on renonce \u00e0 certaines choses. Mais d'un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, on re\u00e7oit beaucoup plus en cadeau\".<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\t<section
