Matth\u00e4us Konieczny OSB<\/h3>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Lundi 21 mars 2022\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-s paragraph-m\"><strong>\"Un b\u00e9n\u00e9dictin d'Admont avec un bonus am\u00e9ricain\"<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-s paragraph-m\">En la solennit\u00e9 de la disparition de notre p\u00e8re Beno\u00eet, le 21 mars, le fr\u00e8re Matth\u00e4us Konieczny a prononc\u00e9 ses v\u0153ux solennels dans l'\u00e9glise abbatiale d'Admont. Ses confr\u00e8res d'Admont, sa famille, les fid\u00e8les des paroisses de l'abbaye et ses amis se sont r\u00e9jouis avec lui. Le fr\u00e8re Matthieu a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 - comme l'a soulign\u00e9 l'abb\u00e9 Gerhard Hafner dans son hom\u00e9lie - l'ordre donn\u00e9 par Dieu \u00e0 Abraham : \"Quitte ton pays, ta parent\u00e9 et la maison de ton p\u00e8re pour le pays que je t'indiquerai ! (Gen\u00e8se 12,1) - Matthew Konieczny est n\u00e9 en 1990 dans l'\u00c9tat de l'Indiana (\u00c9tats-Unis). Il a grandi avec un fr\u00e8re cadet dans la ville de Lafayette. Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu un master en th\u00e9ologie et en philosophie, il est entr\u00e9 en 2018 \u00e0 l'abbaye Saint-Bernard de Cullman, en Alabama. Il a re\u00e7u le nom monastique de Cassian. Le 21 mars 2019, il y a fait sa profession simple. Le fr\u00e8re Cassian a \u00e9t\u00e9 l'h\u00f4te de notre communaut\u00e9 pendant quelques mois \u00e0 partir de l'\u00e9t\u00e9 2020. Sa demande de transfert de ses v\u0153ux temporaires \u00e0 Admont a \u00e9t\u00e9 accept\u00e9e en f\u00e9vrier 2021. Le 20 mars 2021, fr\u00e8re Cassian est devenu fr\u00e8re Matth\u00e4us. L'abb\u00e9 Gerhard a soulign\u00e9 le \"bonus am\u00e9ricain\" de frater Matth\u00e4us.
