Tesori di alto livello provenienti dalla biblioteca, dagli archivi e dalle collezioni, alcuni dei quali mai esposti prima, documentano sia il periodo di massimo splendore sia i periodi difficili del monastero, che ha rischiato pi\u00f9 volte di essere sciolto. Anche le conquiste scientifiche e culturali del monastero sono testimoniate da mostre impressionanti.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In occasione dell'anniversario, il Kunsthistorisches Museum \u00e8 stato riorganizzato. Insieme alla mostra permanente \"Collezione Mayer\", allestita nella sala antistante, tutti i fondi storici dell'arte sono ora riuniti al piano terra e messi in dialogo. Sono rappresentate opere dal Medioevo ai giorni nostri: dipinti, stampe, sculture, manoscritti e altri oggetti provenienti dal Parament e dalla Kunstkammer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">La mostra permanente del Museo Gotico si basa su una donazione di Kuno &amp; Helga Mayer. Gli 85 oggetti d'arte sacra esposti risalgono principalmente al periodo tardo gotico. Oltre alle vetrate e all'arte del ferro battuto, i principali oggetti esposti sono sculture e dipinti su tavola. Gli artisti e le botteghe rappresentate (Maestro di Seeon, Maestro di Kefermarkt, Hans Klocker, Michael Pacher, Hans Multscher, Michel Erhart, Niklaus Weckmann e molti altri) riflettono le regioni artistiche del loro tempo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Dopo l'incendio dell'abbazia nel 1865, tra il 1866 e il 1906 don Gabriel Strobl, uno dei pi\u00f9 importanti ricercatori del suo tempo, fond\u00f2 il Museo di Storia Naturale, tuttora esistente. La collezione di insetti contiene 252.000 esemplari, tra cui pi\u00f9 di 50.000 ditteri (zanzare e mosche). Un pezzo forte sono i 242 esemplari di frutta in cera di P. Constantin Keller (1778-1864). Si tratta di oltre 1000 opere di circa 180 artisti austriaci, la maggior parte dei quali nati nella seconda met\u00e0 del XX secolo. Due artisti stiriani della generazione tra le due guerre, la pittura austriaca dagli anni '80 in poi e vari temi hanno le loro aree espositive. L'arte commissionata \"MADE FOR ADMONT\" e le interpretazioni contemporanee delle Madonne medievali costituiscono i punti focali.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Nel 2003, il Museo dell'Abbazia di Admont disponeva di tre sale multimediali progettate da Peter Hans Felzmann. Le sale, che hanno ricevuto un premio nazionale per la multimedialit\u00e0, sono state ora revisionate tecnicamente dopo 20 anni di funzionamento e rappresentano quindi lo stato pi\u00f9 recente della
