Dopo il devastante incendio del 1865, il monastero fu ricostruito su fondamenta romaniche e gotiche sotto la guida di Wilhelm B\u00fccher e consacrato solennemente nel 1869.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"264\" data-end=\"536\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"861\">Oggi, la collegiata di Admont <strong>uno dei primi e pi\u00f9 grandi edifici sacri neogotici dell'Austria<\/strong> - un capolavoro di architettura dall'impressionante effetto spaziale. La navata centrale a tre navate \u00e8 armoniosamente suddivisa in cinque cappelle laterali con un totale di sei altari artisticamente progettati: un luogo che rende tangibile la fede e la storia.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Particolarmente interessante \u00e8 l'altare mariano con il dipinto \"Maria Immacolata\" di Martino Altomonte (1657-1745). Il dipinto \u00e8 incorniciato da 15 medaglioni intagliati raffiguranti i misteri del rosario, creati dal famoso scultore di Admont Josef Stammel. Entrambe le opere d'arte risalgono al 1726 e sono tra le poche sopravvissute indenni al devastante incendio dell'abbazia del 1865.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Immergetevi nelle profondit\u00e0 Il crocifisso gotico sotto l'arco di trionfo del 1518 \u00e8 attribuito ad Andreas Lackner.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Una statua di San Biagio corona l'altare maggiore in marmo bianco di Carrara. Il coro \u00e8 decorato con grandi arazzi realizzati da Frater Benno Haan all'inizio del XVIII secolo.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"firepress-content__box firepress-content__box--two\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"prose\"><h5 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\">Progettazione della facciata<\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">La facciata occidentale presenta le figure di San Benedetto e Santa Scolastica. Un timpano a punta con la figura del patrono dell'abbazia, San Biagio, corona il portale.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">I portali laterali romanici risalgono al XII secolo.
