class=\"prose\"><p class=\"paragraph-m\">L'invito all'artista di origine tedesca e attivo a livello internazionale, recentemente trasferitosi a Graz, \u00e8 stato rivolto nel contesto della mostra \"Styrian Roots\" e del programma \"ADMONT GUESTS\" fondato nel 2011. Una selezione rappresentativa di disegni e dipinti offre uno sguardo sul background della serie di opere di Nikola Irmer, che affrontano il tema della natura e delle collezioni di storia naturale in modi diversi. Le opere esposte sono state concesse in prestito dall'artista. Mostrano estratti di collezioni zoologiche e dei loro depositi. Non sono state create ad Admont, ma nascono da collaborazioni con altri musei a Oxford, Firenze, Vienna, Berlino, Leida e altrove.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Nel corso del suo progetto di ricerca sui musei di storia naturale e sul loro rapporto con l'arte, Nikola Irmer si \u00e8 imbattuta anche nel Museo Admont e nelle collezioni di Padre Gabriel Strobl. \"Lo sfondo di uno dei miei progetti \u00e8 costituito da problemi attuali come l'estinzione delle specie e l'equilibrio generalmente compromesso tra cultura contemporanea e natura\", afferma Nikola Irmer. \u00c8 particolarmente interessata alla storia culturale del collezionismo e allo spazio museale come luogo della memoria e della poesia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Il progetto in corso presentato ad Admont in questa stagione secondo il principio \"Pars pro Toto\" \u00e8 stato esposto in diversi formati e istituzioni. Faceva parte della \"Wordly House\" presentata da Tue Greenfort a dOCUMENTA (13). Nel 2015 \u00e8 stata realizzata una mostra relativa alle collezioni dello Schloss Friedenstein di Gotha. Oltre a numerose partecipazioni a mostre, sono state realizzate mostre personali, tra l'altro, alla Kunsthalle Memmingen (2015) e in collaborazione con il Kunstverein Kreuzlingen e l'Universit\u00e0 di Costanza (2017).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Un futuro progetto MADE-FOR-ADMONT relativo alle collezioni dell'azienda \u00e8 attualmente in discussione.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Nikola Irmer, nato nel 1970 a Starnberg\/Germania, vive e lavora a Graz\/Stiria dal 2020; ha studiato presso il San Francisco Art Institute, la Glasgow School of Art e l'Hunter College di New York: nel 2012 ha partecipato a dOCUMENTA (13) a Kassel. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nikolairmer.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.nikolairmer.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":0,"parent":5864,"menu_order":3,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-9049","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.5 (Yoast SEO v28.5) -
