Ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 zosta\u0142 spalony przez Turk\u00f3w w 1480 roku i odbudowany w kolejnych latach.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Obecny barokowy wygl\u0105d ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 uzyska\u0142 w latach 1677-1678; dachy zosta\u0142y odnowione po po\u017carze w 1833 roku.<\/p>\n<p>Zmiany na zewn\u0105trz ko\u015bcio\u0142a przeprowadzono w 1974 r., a wewn\u0105trz w latach 1963-1964 i 1982 (malowanie tylnej cz\u0119\u015bci ko\u015bcio\u0142a) i 1985 (renowacja pod\u0142ogi w nawie).<\/p>\n<p>W 2006 r. wn\u0119trze ko\u015bcio\u0142a parafialnego zosta\u0142o gruntownie odnowione, w tym zainstalowano ogrzewanie \u0142awek; fasada zosta\u0142a odnowiona w 2016 roku.<\/p>\n<p>\u015awi\u0119to patrona ko\u015bcio\u0142a i parafii - \u015bw. Laurentiusza - obchodzone jest w niedziel\u0119 poprzedzaj\u0105c\u0105 lub nast\u0119puj\u0105c\u0105 po dniu jego \u015bwi\u0119ta, 10 sierpnia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Do parafii nale\u017cy ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 filialny \u015bw. Jana w Dietmannsdorf (zbudowany w 1171 r., 24 czerwca \u015bw. Na uwag\u0119 zas\u0142uguje roma\u0144ski portal i \u017celazne drzwi wej\u015bciowe, a tak\u017ce freski Matki Boskiej i \u015bw. Krzysztofa na po\u0142udniowej \u015bcianie.
