Naselje ob prelazu (Taurus Inferior) se v dokumentih pojavlja leta 1140 n. \u0161t. Ime Thauern je keltskega izvora in pomeni \"prehod v gorah\".\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Na\u0161a gorska vas Hohentauern je s 1.274 metri nadmorske vi\u0161ine najvi\u0161je le\u017ee\u010da alpska vas v gorovju Rottenmanner Tauern. Dva rudnika, ki sta bila zaprta od leta 1997 oziroma 1994 - rudnika magnezita in grafita - pri\u010data o tem, da je Hohentauern \u017ee od nekdaj imel dragocena nahajali\u0161\u010da mineralov; pridobivanje magnezita se je pred nekaj leti ponovno za\u010delo v odprtem kopu.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gorska cerkev z gorskim pokopali\u0161\u010dem v Hohentauernu je posve\u010dena svetemu apostolu Bartolomeju (prva cerkvena stavba izvira iz leta 1363). Sedanja oblika cerkvice izvira iz okoli leta 1490, stolpni \u010debulic pa iz obdobja baroka.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Patrocinium:<\/strong> Sveti Bartolomej, 24. avgust<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u017dupnija se je zmotila:<\/strong> 1892 (vikariat 1760)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Registri:<\/strong> 1760<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u017dupnijska cerkev gen: <\/strong>1363 (1785 - 1790)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"admont-button admont-button--secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/discover.matterport.com\/space\/9m7bRn7CjLm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VIRTUALNI OGLED \u017dUPNIJSKE CERKVE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t<section class=\"firepress-section firepress-content firepress-section--background firepress-section--background-beige\"\n\t\t\n\t\tdata-firepress-content\n\t\tdata-firepress-lightbox-group>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"firepress-content__inner\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"firepress-content__grid firepress-content__grid--one-half\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"firepress-content__box firepress-content__box--one\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"prose\"><h5 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\">Arhitektura<\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Med prenovo leta 1956 so odkrili gotske freske iz leta 1492.<\/p>\n<p>Notranjost cerkve zdru\u017euje baro\u010dni in gotski slog. Okra\u0161eni gotski sklepniki in stene prezbiterija, cerkvena pri\u017enica in glavni oltar so v baro\u010dnem slogu in imajo izrezljane elemente. Okoli leta 1885 je umetnik Siegmund Wagner na cerkveni pri\u017enici ustvaril pet serij slik, ki prikazujejo \u0161tiri evangeliste in Jezusa Kristusa kot \"dobrega pastirja\".<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Glavni oltar s \u010dudovitimi rezbarijami (okoli leta 1750) je delo Josefa Stammla, umetnika, ki je delal v opatiji Admont. Stolpni kri\u017e z vremensko kljuko je iz 16. stoletja. V stolpu so trije zvonovi. Najstarej\u0161i zvon v stolpu je med letoma 1438 in 1458 odlil Hans Mitter, izdelovalec zvonov v Judenburgu (150 kg, premer 66 cm).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hohentauern je bil leta 1892 povzdignjen v \u017eupnijo, praznik cerkve in \u017eupnijskega zavetnika - svetega Bartolomeja - pa se praznuje na nedeljo pred ali po svetnikovem prazniku, 24.
