Z njim so se veselili njegovi sobratje iz Admonta, njegova dru\u017eina, verniki iz opatijskih \u017eupnij in prijatelji. Kot je v pridigi poudaril opat Gerhard Hafner, je brat Matej izpolnil Bo\u017ejo zapoved Abrahamu: \"Pojdi iz svoje de\u017eele, iz svojega rodu in iz hi\u0161e svojega o\u010deta v de\u017eelo, ki ti jo bom pokazal! (1 Mz 12,1) - Matthew Konieczny se je rodil leta 1990 v zvezni dr\u017eavi Indiana (ZDA). Skupaj z mlaj\u0161im bratom je odra\u0161\u010dal v mestu Lafayette. Po kon\u010danem magisteriju iz teologije in filozofije je leta 2018 vstopil v opatijo svetega Bernarda v mestu Cullman v zvezni dr\u017eavi Alabama. Dobil je meni\u0161ko ime Cassian. Tam je 21. marca 2019 opravil svoj preprosti poklic. frater Cassian je bil od poletja 2020 ve\u010d mesecev gost v na\u0161i skupnosti. Njegova pro\u0161nja za prenos za\u010dasnih zaobljub v Admont je bila odobrena februarja 2021. 20. marca 2021 je frater Cassian postal frater Matth\u00e4us. Opat Gerhard je poudaril \"ameri\u0161ki bonus\" fratra Matth\u00e4usa.
