Stammel stand \u00fcber vier Jahrzehnte im Dienste des Stiftes Admont. Er war zudem Zeitgenosse Georg Raphael Donners und Bartolomeo <a href=\"\/zh\/%e5%a3%81%e7%94%bb\/\">Altomontes<\/a>. Somit geh\u00f6rte er einer Generation von K\u00fcnstlern an, die den Sp\u00e4tbarock zu einem letzten H\u00f6hepunkt gef\u00fchrt haben. Seine Werke stehen in spannungsreicher Verbindung zur \u00fcbrigen Konzeption des vom Geist der Aufkl\u00e4rung gepr\u00e4gten Admonter Bibliothekssaales. Josef Stammels Schnitzwerke sind aus Lindenholz gearbeitet. Mit Ausnahme der vergoldeten B\u00fcsten sind sie bronziert und erzielen somit eine Materialillusion.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\">\u5927\u578b\u6d6e\u96d5<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">An den beiden Schmalseiten des Bibliothekssaales befinden sich auf H\u00f6he der Galerie zwei gro\u00dfe Reliefs. Das Relief an der S\u00fcdseite zeigt dabei ein bekanntes Motiv aus dem Alten Testament: Das \u201esalomonische Urteil\u201c als Inbegriff menschlicher Weisheit. Der im Tempel lehrende Jesus ist gleichsam als das neutestamentliche Gegenst\u00fcck und Versinnbildlichung g\u00f6ttlicher Weisheit an der Nordseite dargestellt. Die nahezu vollplastisch wirkenden Hochreliefs in den medaillonartig gemalten Rahmungen auf H\u00f6he der Galerie in den beiden \u00e4u\u00dferen S\u00e4len zeigen insgesamt acht biblische Personen: an der S\u00fcdseite Repr\u00e4sentanten des Alten Testaments, Moses und Elias, ihnen gegen\u00fcber die Apostel Petrus und Paulus; an der Nordseite die vier Evangelisten Lukas, Johannes, Matth\u00e4us und Markus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">\u5728\u4e2d\u592e\u5927\u5385\u7684\u4e0a\u5c42\uff0c\u56db\u79cd\u7f8e\u5fb7\u7684\u5973\u6027\u5f62\u8c61\u8fdb\u884c\u4e86\u4e3b\u9898\u5bf9\u8bdd\uff1a\u6c38\u6052\u7684\u771f\u7406\uff08\"veritas eterna\"\uff09\u3001\u795e\u5723\u7684\u667a\u6167\uff08\"sapientia divina\"\uff09\u3001\u8c28\u614e\uff08\"prudentia\"\uff09\u548c\u79d1\u5b66\uff08\"scientia\"\uff09\u3002<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"firepress-text-bild__media\">\n\t\t\t\t<figure class=\"sa-media sa-media--image\">\n\t\t\t<a class=\"sa-media__frame\" href=\"https:\/\/stiftadmont.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/Stiftsbibliothek_\u00a9Thomas-Sattler-7-2048x1365.jpg\" data-firepress-lightbox style=\"aspect-ratio: 3 \/ 2\">\n\t\t\t<img width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/stiftadmont.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/Stiftsbibliothek_\u00a9Thomas-Sattler-7-1024x683.jpg\" class=\"sa-media__image\" alt=\"\u4fee\u9053\u9662\u56fe\u4e66\u9986 \u00a9Thomas Sattler 7 \u6bd4\u4f8b\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" data-srcset=\"\" \/>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<\/figure>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"firepress-section firepress-text sa-scope sa-ground sa-ground--beige firepress-section--band firepress-section--background-beige\">\n\t<div class=\"sa-container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"firepress-text__columns\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"firepress-text__column sa-prose\">\n\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"heading-m line line-above line--gold\">\u6700\u540e\u56db\u4ef6\u4e8b<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"paragraph-m\">Ebenfalls unter der Mittelkuppel: Josef Stammels Figurengruppe \u201e<a href=\"\/zh\/%e5%85%b3%e4%ba%8e%e4%bf%ae%e9%81%93%e9%99%a2%e5%9b%be%e4%b9%a6%e9%a6%86\/%e6%9c%80%e5%90%8e%e5%9b%9b%e4%bb%b6%e4%ba%8b\/\">\u6700\u540e\u56db\u4ef6\u4e8b<\/a>\u201c, um 1755-60. Die vier \u00fcberlebensgro\u00dfen Standfiguren werden von ausgepr\u00e4gter Gestik und Mimik bestimmt. Sie stellen den Tod, die Auferstehung (zugleich das Gericht), die H\u00f6lle und den Himmel dar. In ihnen findet sich ein zentrales eschatologisches Thema des Barockzeitalters aufgegriffen. Der menschliche Wanderer muss sich im Angesicht seines Todes den letzten Dingen stellen. Im Zuge des g\u00f6ttlichen Gerichtes wird sich sp\u00e4ter entscheiden, ob ihn die himmlische Herrlichkeit oder h\u00f6llische Verdammnis erwartet. Die vier Skulpturen stehen einander wohl seit etwa 1800 im Mittelraum zwischen S\u00e4ulen und B\u00fccherschr\u00e4nken gegen\u00fcber. Sie waren urspr\u00fcnglich jedoch nicht f\u00fcr diesen Aufstellungsort bestimmt.
