I can’t believe I managed to get a shot of this library without any tourists in it. It took a lot of patience and definitely a bit of luck. This is the Admont Abbey Library in Austria – the largest monastery library in the world. To mark the 250th anniversary of our world-famous abbey library, a very special sporting challenge awaits us:
On Tuesday, 22 September, from 9.00 am, the Admont Abbey grounds will be transformed into a large... Running Arena. Together, we aim to clock up an incredible 250 hours of running – that’s the equivalent of running from Admont to Rome and back again! 🇦🇹🏃🇮🇹
Countless children, schools, businesses and clubs take to the starting line together and, with enthusiasm, perseverance and team spirit, complete lap after lap.
📣 Do come along and cheer on the children taking part, as well as the runners! Join us to see what can be achieved through teamwork.
