The Stiftskeller - The restaurant in Admont Abbey
Here we serve our guests typical Austrian dishes and DVERI PAX monastery wines.
Culinary delights in the Stiftskeller Admont
And if you can't get enough of the historic buildings of Admont Abbey, take a seat in the guest garden and enjoy the view of the centuries-old centre of spirituality and culture alongside home-made dishes. In the middle of the historic abbey grounds, right next to the rose garden, the abbey church and the museum with the largest abbey library in the world, the gateway to culinary delights opens up: the gateway to Stiftskeller Admont.
The focus of our menu is on home-style cooking and Austrian home cooking, which reflects the rhythm of the four seasons. Seasonal produce such as wild garlic, asparagus, mushrooms, pumpkin and game symbolise the freshness of our dishes and our commitment to the region. The ingredients for our dishes come from the region and are produced with care by our partner farms.

DVERI PAX - Award-winning monastery wine from Admont Abbey
Every sip of Dveri Pax that you can savour in the Stiftskeller Admont is the result of over 800 years of winemaking tradition. This centuries-long knowledge and love of viticulture is reflected in the incomparable flavour of Dveri Pax as well as in numerous international awards.
Once enjoyed at the imperial court in Vienna, the monastery wine from Admont is now exported worldwide. The historic wine grows in the best growing areas of Jeruzalem in Slovenia. Valuable grape varieties, long maturation and intensity of character ensure its unmistakable flavour.
