Below you will find the admission prices (individual guests and groups) for the museum and library of Admont Abbey
taking photos
Photography is permitted throughout the museum for personal use, provided that no flash, tripod or other equipment is used.
The use of remote-controlled drones, multicopters or similar devices over the grounds of Admont Abbey for filming, photography or other purposes is subject to authorisation and is only permitted in consultation with the Admont Abbey press office, as the use of such devices poses an increased risk to people and property, may result in a breach of rights (personal rights, etc.) and a disturbance to the cultural monument.
People using a tripod fall into the „Professional Photography“ category and must submit a written application or a signed photographer’s contract. This must be arranged 3–5 working days in advance. Wedding photo shoots are permitted in the monastery library not permitted.

Discounts and partner cards: Discounts are only valid on presentation of a valid ID and are only available at the ticket office.
For groups, every 21st person and the bus driver or tour guide is granted a free seat.
Special guided tours
The special guided tours „Culture and Enjoyment“ and „Library by Night“, the special guided tour „Stone & Building Stories“, as well as our children's and holiday programmes can only be visited if booked in advance at museum@stiftadmont.at.

Admission tickets and prices
The admission ticket is valid for the day purchased. The prices are valid from 19 March up to and including 13 December 2026. Subject to price changes and typographical errors.

General information
It is forbidden to smoke, consume food and drink and touch works of art and exhibits in all rooms. Guided tours are only permitted by our trained guides. Guided tours by tour guides must be registered in advance at museum@stiftadmont.at and authorised in writing.
Animals are not permitted in the museum. Exceptions to this rule are certified assistance dogs listed on the ID card. In order to ensure optimal care, we kindly ask you to register in advance at museum@stiftadmont.at or under +43 (0) 3613/2312-604.
