Blessing of the new choir chapel 2024

Blessing of the new choir chapel

Sunday, 21 January 2024

Yesterday, we celebrated the blessing of our new choir chapel in a small, festive setting. We are very grateful for this successful chapel, in which we pray the Liturgy of the Hours every day. What is new is that guests can now also take part in our prayers, which we are very pleased about. In his sermon, Abbot Gerhard thanked all the people and companies involved for the realisation - above all Br. Thomas from the European Monastery Gut Aich for the competent planning.
From the abbot's sermon: "Praising God is the highest task of us monks; this praise enables us to practise charity today with a believing heart, so that God may be glorified in everything."
