In silent remembrance of Father Wolfgang Fischer-Felgitsch OSB
With deep sorrow and firm faith in the Resurrection, we bid farewell to our dear brother, Father Wolfgang, whom God called home on 31 October 2026.
His life was characterised by a deep faith, his special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and his strong attachment to the Church. He spent many years working in Rome, which became a second home to him, before returning to Styria to serve as a pastor.
With the passing of Father Wolfgang, we have lost a much-loved brother who, despite serious health challenges, remained true to his faith and his connection to the Benedictine community.
„God is our refuge and strength, a ever-present help in times of trouble.“
In gratitude for his life and work, we entrust him to God’s infinite love and mercy.
Rest in peace, dear Father Wolfgang. May the Lord grant you eternal joy and His peace.
