Invitation to the opening event of the Hannes Schwarz memorial "Counterworlds"
On Thursday, 17 October 2024, at 19:30, a series of events on the life and work of the artist and thinker Hannes Schwarz will kick off at the Kunsthaus Weiz. The Museum of Admont Abbey will participate in the project group, which is supported by several Styrian cultural institutions and initiatives, with exhibitions and an evening of talks.
The panel discussion on Thursday will focus on Hannes Schwarz in his role as a thinker, educator and human being. Another discussion evening will take place on 10 April 2025 in the Museum of Admont Abbey and will focus on Hannes Schwarz's artistic environment and artistic expression.
The Hannes Schwarz project group, and thus also the Admont Abbey Museum, is looking forward to numerous inspiring discussions and new perspectives on an important Styrian artist who died ten years ago.
