Kaiserau Kids’ Race 2026 – Around 70 children took Kaiserau by storm
On 19 September 2026, Kaiserau near Admont once again became a meeting place for young cycling enthusiasts. At the Kids Race Kaiserau 2026, which formed part of the Upper Styrian Children’s Cycling Cup, around 70 children took to the starting line – full of enthusiasm, plenty of vigour and a huge love of cycling.
Everyone was represented, from balance bikes right up to the U15 age group. It didn’t matter whether the young participants already had racing experience or were taking part in a cycle race for the first time. What counted was the joy of being active, sporting ambition and the shared experience.
The events, tailored to the respective age groups, made for thrilling races and plenty of beaming faces. Cheered on by parents, families and visitors, the children impressively demonstrated just how much enthusiasm, energy and passion there is in youth cycling.
Once again, the event centred on a very special idea: every child was a winner. That is why, during the prize-giving ceremony, every child who took part received a prize – regardless of their placing.
Mario Brandmüller, Admont Town Councillor and Managing Director of Kaiserau Tourismus GmbH, was delighted: „It was brilliant to see the joy and enthusiasm the children showed. That’s exactly what we’re all about: we want to inspire a love of exercise and cycling and offer the children a positive and motivating experience. The 70 or so children at Kaiserau show just how important events like this are for our young people.“
Kaiserau, with its stunning natural setting, once again provided the ideal backdrop for a family-friendly sporting event. Together with the many children, their families and the volunteers, the Kaiserau Kids Race turned into a sporting experience that left behind one thing above all else: plenty of enthusiasm and children’s eyes sparkling with joy.
