Last Sunday, games, fun and exercise for young and old were on the programme at the Kaiserau.
Despite poor weather forecasts, a large number of sports enthusiasts took the opportunity to enjoy the wide range of activities offered by various clubs and organisations from the region. In almost ideal conditions, the adventure festival was held at 1,100 metres in the sunshine on Sunday afternoon. Families, young and old alike tried their hand at goal races, slides or running units and were able to complete tests at various stations presented by the mountain rescue service and the Admont fire and rescue service. Several personalities from the worlds of business, politics and sport also visited the Kaiserau and were impressed by what was on offer.
"It's great to see what the clubs at the Kaiserau have to offer, especially the enthusiasm with which the club members pass on their knowledge, it's wonderful to experience," praised ASKÖ Styria President Gerhard Widmann the event.
The participants had travelled from different regions of Austria and enjoyed visiting the Gesäuse. "The Gesäuse is diverse and with the Kaiserau we have a small but fine ski area with special events," says the Managing Director Jaqueline Egger.
The Kaiserau high plateau is known for its many sports and many people visit the beautiful area all year round. "We are proud of our Kaiserau and its diversity. Our festival was also characterised by different offers. I'm already looking forward to a sequel," said Managing Director Mario Brandmüller after this successful event.
If you missed the festival this year, there will be another opportunity to attend the winter festival on the Kaiserau in winter 2025.
