Next Monday (17 August 2026) would normally be our closing day. However, as rain is forecast after so many lovely summer days, we’ve decided on the spur of the moment to open our doors and turn our closing day into a day of special library tours.
Following our ‘Heatwave’ event, we now present our ‘Rainy Day’ event – for anyone who, after countless days of walking, sunbathing and swimming, fancies a special guided tour of the world’s largest monastic library…

The special guided tours take place at the following times: 9.30 am, 11.30 am, 1.30 pm (guided tour in English).
