Warning! Fake adverts and scams

WARNING: FAKE NEWS AND SCAM

Fake advertisements are currently circulating on social media once again, promoting a supposed medicine or product called „Boswellia“. It is claimed that this is based on a „secret recipe from Admont Abbey“ or is linked to monks from our monastery.

We wish to make it absolutely clear: these claims are false! Neither Admont Benedictine Abbey nor the Admont Abbey Pharmacy have anything to do with this product or the alleged „secret recipe“. Our name is being used without our consent.

Advertisements of this kind were already appearing online in April this year; they disappeared for a while but are now apparently being circulated again. Both the abbey and the abbey pharmacy are currently receiving an increasing number of enquiries about this.
