Old St Andrew's Church
The so-called "Old St Andrew's Church" was originally a branch church of St Lorenzen and the first parish church of Trieben. A "capella" in Trieben was first mentioned in a document in 1160, and 11 years later a "church" of St Andrew was already mentioned. The current church building dates back to the years 1494-1498, after the church was destroyed following the Turkish invasions in 1480. The church burnt down in 1858 and in the following years the church was given its present appearance.
