Exactly 50 years ago to the day - on the Solemnity of St Hemma of Gurk - our former Abbot Bruno received the sacrament of priestly ordination from Bishop Johann Weber in Admont Abbey Church. At today's pontifical mass, Abbot Bruno thanked God for 50 years of priestly service. In his sermon, Abbot Gerhard highlighted the individual stages in Abbot Bruno's life and thanked him for his service to our community and the people in the region.

The Admont church choir and a delegation from the Admont-Hall band helped organise the service.
