High-ranking visitor to Admont Abbey
Abbot Gerhard and Father Prior Maximilian were delighted to welcome Karl Habsburg, Prince Alexander zu Schaumburg Lippe, George Windsor - Earl of St Andrews (son of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent), Don Ferdinand Pignatelli and his wife and the entrepreneur Dr Herbert Hild and his wife to Admont Abbey today.
They were visibly impressed by our diverse museum, the special exhibitions and our wonderful monastery library.
It goes without saying that the current COVID requirements were adhered to!
