The Benedictine Abbey of Admont was founded in 1074 and is located in the lower Enns Valley in the heart of Austria. It is known for its extensive gardens, which are tended by the staff of its own nursery. In the 2,500 m² glasshouses of the Admont Abbey nursery, fragrant flowers and herbs grow alongside vigorous young vegetable plants. With all their knowledge and the right instinct, they look after our plants from the first awakening to the sale. For them, sustainable cultivation means harmonising human will and natural development. To protect plants from pests, they therefore rely on beneficial animals instead of chemical pesticides.

For you, sustainable cultivation means harmonising human will and natural development. To protect plants from pests, you therefore rely on beneficial animal organisms instead of chemical agents.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Sowing vegetable and ornamental plant seeds in beds and seed trays
- Care of young plants (watering, fertilising, weeding, etc.)
- Implementation of pest control measures
- Pricking out and transplanting young plants into cold frames or open ground
- Preparation of plants for sale
- Sale of balcony and summer flowers
- Independent organisation and processing of orders on site
- Coordination of all work and direct customer contact
- Design and maintenance of outdoor facilities
What you bring with you:
- Completed training in horticulture or comparable
- Qualification
- Enjoy plants, nature and manual labour
- Independent, structured and reliable way of working
- Friendly demeanour and enjoy dealing with customers
- Ability to work in a team and sense of responsibility

Gross monthly salary of € 2,136.28 (based on 40 hours/week)
