Travel information

The Kaiserau is located between Admont and Trieben and is around 10 kilometres away from each of the two villages.

  • She is from the south from the motorway exit Trieben (A9 Pyhrnautobahn) via the Kaiserauer Landesstraße L 713 in 10 minutes.
  • From the north Kaiserau can also be reached via the A9 Pyhrn motorway. From the Ardning exit on the Gesäuse-Bundesstraße B146, drive around 10 km to Admont. From there, the Kaiserau can be reached in 10 minutes via the Kaiserauer Landesstraße L 713.
  • From the north-east you come to Admont via Amstetten, Weyer and St. Gallen, from the east via Eisenerz and the Gesäuse. From Admont, follow the Kaiserauer Landesstraße L 713, which takes you to your destination after 10 minutes.
  • Rail and bus travellers drive to Selzthal or Trieben and then take the public bus or the free ski bus to Kaiserau.

 

 

From the beginning of May, cars and buses can drive to the Oberst-Klinke Hütte via the toll road. Access to the Oberst-Klinke Hütte is not possible in winter.
