Here you can find information about the architecture of the Ardning branch church

The Ardning branch church is a single-nave church with a groin vault on pilasters. The centrepiece is the baroque tabernacle structure, which was transferred here from Premstätten Castle in 1980. Above it is an altarpiece depicting St Benedict of Nursia. In the apse, the high-quality statues of St John the Baptist (patron saint of the church) and St John the Evangelist, from the late 17th century or early 18th century, stand on consoles. They come from the Frauenberg parish church and were only brought to Ardning in 2016.

The Stations of the Cross are the work of Benedictine nun Basilia Gürth OSB. The neo-baroque celebration altar and ambo (both created around 1980) originally came from the parish church in Bad Zell (Upper Austria) and were donated to Ardning in 2019.
