The church in Ardning
Ardning Church is located in the parish of Frauenberg an der Enns and is dedicated to the beheading of St. John the Baptist (29 August). The small, pretty baroque church originally dates back to the 17th century and was rebuilt in a similar style after a major fire in 1946. Inside, it contains several works of art from the Baroque period and the present day. The two parishes of Ardning and Frauenberg are endeavouring to work together more closely through various pastoral activities. Even though the parish church is in Frauenberg, St John's Church in Ardning is the second „beating heart“ of the parish.
