Ringing of the Johanneskirche Ardning

 

A sonorous three-part chime hangs in the ridge turret of the Ardning filial church.

 

1st large bell: Consecrated to St John the Baptist (patron saint of the church) and the Virgin Mary (patron saint of Frauenberg-Ardning parish), St Florian bell foundry 1952, tone “d"

2nd conversion bell: consecrated to St Michael the Archangel, St Florian bell foundry 1948, tone “f"

3rd death knell: consecrated to St Benedict and St Joseph, bell foundry Grassmayr 1996, tone g“
