Solemnity of St Benedict and day of the collegiate parishes at Admont Abbey
Today we celebrated the Solemnity of our religious father Benedict. For several years now, 21 March has also been the day of the collegiate parishes for Admont Abbey, to which many representatives of our 26 incorporated parishes came today.
In his sermon, Abbot Gerhard emphasised that the Gospel is not and should not be a secret. We monks, but also all Christians, have the task of proclaiming it: in word and deed. Following the festive service, all participants were invited to a get-together in our small banqueting hall.
A cosy aperitif concluded this eventful day.
