Further training & communication day for the foundation's apprentices
Monday, 14 April 2025
The communication day for apprentices at the Benedictine Abbey of Admont and Admonter Holzindustrie AG was once again held in the cosy Admont Zirbenstube. This day is not only an opportunity to learn important soft skills, but also a platform to promote dialogue and cooperation.
The morning was dedicated entirely to theory: the apprentices had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with various aspects of communication. Topics such as etiquette, cultural differences, bullying and the importance of non-verbal communication were on the agenda. The simulation game, in which the apprentices were able to play through various communication situations in groups, was particularly exciting. The resulting discussions were lively and showed how important it is to adapt to the needs and perspectives of others when communicating.
After an intensive morning, the afternoon was spent out in nature. The outdoor activity at Admont Abbey's pond gave the apprentices the opportunity to put what they had learnt into practice. In a relaxed environment, they were able to develop their communication skills while strengthening team spirit and cohesion.
The communication day was a complete success! We are already looking forward to the next events, which will help the apprentices to develop personally and professionally!
