Blessing of food at Admont Abbey
Numerous believers came to the collegiate church with their lovingly filled votive baskets to celebrate the traditional blessing of food together.
This beautiful Easter tradition combines faith, community and gratitude. The blessing of the food is a visible sign of the joy of the resurrection and a special moment of togetherness.
The many baskets brought along filled the church with life and anticipation of Easter.
We would like to thank everyone who shared and celebrated this beautiful custom with us.
