The abbey pond now has a new eye-catcher on the abbey grounds.
In addition to ducks, swans and fish, the striking numbers „250“ in bold monastery red now also attract the attention of visitors. The reason for this is the 250th anniversary year of the world-famous Admont Abbey Library.
With the newly designed photo hotspot, a special place has been created that harmoniously combines history, tradition and a modern visitor experience. The installation invites guests, visitors and locals to take unique souvenir photos amidst the impressive backdrop of the abbey pond.
The interplay of water, nature and historical architecture makes this place an atmospheric meeting point and another special experience on the grounds of Admont Abbey. Especially in the evening hours, the ambience around the pond unfolds its special charm and creates an atmosphere to linger and savour.
