The Stiftsgymnasium Admont is delighted to be certified as a „Young Science Partner School“.
At the ceremony in Vienna on 8 June, headmaster P. Thomas Stellwag-Carion O. S. B. and future headmistress Katja Maierhofer accepted the award from Science Minister Eva-Maria Holzleitner and the President of the ÖAD, Jakob Calice.
This seal of quality recognises the school's achievements in the field of science and research. Pupils at the Stiftsgymnasium were introduced to exciting scientific issues through cooperation projects with the Gesäuse National Park, the University of Graz, the University of Leoben, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, the Climate Change Centre and many more, and became active researchers and explorers themselves.
The school's science programme in particular benefits from this close collaboration with scientific institutions. As part of the „Young Science Network“, the school will continue to expand its contact with research institutions in the future.
