Abbot Gerhard was delighted to receive an extraordinary bar table, which was made by the apprentices of the Admont timber industry.
The unique piece of furniture was made from carefully reclaimed wood and combines craftsmanship, creativity and a strong awareness of sustainability. The bar table was presented to Abbot Gerhard by apprentice trainer Mr Zandl together with the two carpentry apprentices Andre and Alexander.
The bar table is much more than a practical piece of furniture: it symbolises the high quality of the apprenticeship training and the commitment of young skilled workers who create impressive workpieces with passion and expertise.
Many thanks to everyone involved for the successful realisation of this special project. The result is an impressive demonstration of how experience, talent and sustainable thinking can result in something lasting.
