On Friday, 13 December 2024, Abbot Gerhard Hafner OSB will ceremoniously open the Advent market at 11:00 a.m. with a Holy Mass in the collegiate church. In the collegiate church, you can marvel at works of art by sculptor Thomas Comploi with your parents and siblings. Yes, and also the famous, multi-figured "Nativity scene" is open on the days of the Advent market.
And take the opportunity to visit the world's largest monastery library at Admont Benedictine Abbey. The library is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. The Natural History Museum with its many animals is particularly popular with children.
And there's one thing you mustn't forget! In the middle of Hemmapark is the festively illuminated Christkindl Post Office. Bring your letter to the Christ Child with you or write it here at the Christkindl Post Office and drop it in the post box. You'll see, the Christ Child will answer you soon!
