On Thursday, 8 December, Abbot Gerhard Hafner OSB will ceremoniously open the Advent market at 10:00 with a Holy Mass in the collegiate church. The mass will be accompanied by music from the church choir under the direction of Albert Wonaschütz.

We are particularly pleased that this year the Gesäuse National Park the Children's programme designed. 

The popular Pony riding will again take place daily from 14:00 to 16:30 in the Rosarium.

Every day from 13:30 to 16:00 you can visit the Museum workshop make small Christmas presents in the monastery museum or simply play and have fun.

In the collegiate church, you can marvel at works of art by sculptor Thomas Comploi with your parents and siblings. Yes, and also the famous, multi-figured "Nativity scene" is open on the days of the Advent market. 

And take the opportunity to visit the world's largest monastery library at Admont Benedictine Abbey. Admont Abbey Library & Museum are open daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

And there's one thing you mustn't forget! In the middle of Hemmapark is the festively illuminated Christkindl Post Office. Bring your letter to the Christ Child with you or write it here at the Christkindl Post Office and drop it in the post box. You'll see, the Christ Child will answer you soon!
