Under the chairmanship of Abbot Johannes Perkmann OSB, President of the Austrian
Benedictine Congregation, on 15 December 2025 the Presidium of the Congregation approved the
visitation at the Benedictine Abbey of St Paul in Lavanttal was brought to a conclusion.
On the same day, and with the full agreement of the Convention
Prelate Mag. Gerhard Hafner OSB,
Abbot of Admont, back to the
Administrator of the Benedictine Abbey of St Paul
appointed.
In addition Dr Maximilian Schiefermüller OSB, Prior of Admont,
as assistant to the administrator of St Paul's.
