Admonter Holzindustrie AG is expanding its training programme and is now an official training company of the Dual Academy (DA) of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
The company is thus opening up another attractive opportunity for committed school leavers and university drop-outs to successfully start their careers.
The Dual Academy is an innovative training model of the Chamber of Commerce that combines practice-orientated training in the company with sound theoretical further education. The training lasts two to three years, depending on the profession, and is aimed specifically at young people with a school-leaving certificate who are looking for a high-quality alternative to a traditional degree programme.
In addition to professional qualifications, future skills in the areas of digitalisation, social skills and internationality are also taught. An internship abroad is also part of the training programme.
By becoming a training company, Admonter is emphasising its long-term commitment to training qualified specialists and promoting young talent. The company sees the Dual Academy as a valuable addition to the existing training programmes and an important investment in the future.
„We are proud to make our contribution to the development of skilled labour and to be able to offer young people another high-quality training opportunity. The Dual Academy combines theory and practice in an ideal way and opens up excellent career opportunities“, emphasises Helmut Klausner, CEO of Admonter.
The Dual Academy was developed by the Chamber of Commerce as a future-orientated training model and has successfully established itself throughout Austria. It offers companies the opportunity to train motivated junior staff in a targeted manner and at the same time counteract the increasing demand for skilled labour.
