Kaiserau takes off

Thursday, 9 December 2021

Skiing starts on the Kaiserau next Saturday, 11 December 2021. Season tickets are also available in advance.

Massive amounts of fresh snow make it possible: Kaiserau is opening earlier than planned. The popular family ski area will start this year's winter season as early as next Saturday. Initially with the Kinderland and the Schlosslift. From 18 December, all lifts will be open daily from 09:00 to 16:00. Although all signs point to a snowy winter, the resort is not relying entirely on natural snow, as Kaiserau Managing Director Mario Brandmüller emphasises: "We have invested a lot of money in the snowmaking system this year and are hoping for many guests, despite the coronavirus regulations in force." As in all other ski resorts, the mandatory 2G rule also applies at Kaiserau.

In order to make ticket sales faster and more efficient, a second ticket office was installed last year. "This year, we can offer maximum time savings when buying tickets and avoid unnecessary contact due to long queues," says Brandmüller. In addition, 400,000 euros have been invested in improving the infrastructure. The good quality of the ski area is also confirmed by the Austrian Piste Quality Seal, which was awarded to Kaiserau last year. The jury's unanimous verdict: Outstanding.

In addition to good piste quality, Kaiserau also scores points for being family-friendly. "Skiing must remain affordable," emphasises Brandmüller, who is committed to moderate pricing. Despite the early start to this year's winter season, advance season ticket sales are also well underway until 23 December. Information and order under: 0664 / 60 353 550
