A pioneer in environmental and climate protection
Admonter Holzindustrie, the first Austrian parquet manufacturer to be awarded the Austrian Ecolabel, is delighted to have been awarded this prestigious environmental certificate once again. Since the first award in 2017, Admonter has not only established itself as a pioneer in the field of sustainability, but also continues to set new standards in the wood industry.
The Austrian Ecolabel for wood, wood-based materials and wooden floor coverings is an important seal of quality that recognises products and services that meet the highest environmental standards. The label guarantees consumers products that are as low in pollutants as possible. To protect the environment, the use of wood from sustainably managed forests is promoted, and the air and noise emissions resulting from the production process are minimised. Admonter has distinguished itself through innovative production processes and responsible raw material sourcing. The company only uses wood from sustainable forestry, which conserves natural resources and supports the regional economy at the same time. "Being awarded the eco-label again confirms our commitment to environmental and climate protection. We are proud to offer our customers products that are both aesthetically and ecologically valuable," says Martin A. Dolkowski MSc, Head of Product Development at Admonter Holzindustrie. "Sustainability is not just a current trend, but a responsibility that we have always taken very seriously."

In addition to environmentally friendly production, Admonter is also involved in various initiatives to promote sustainability and environmental protection - and holds numerous certificates. The company invests in modern technologies that reduce energy consumption and minimise emissions. In addition, wood waste from the production process that cannot be utilised as material is used to generate energy in the company's own heating plant. The energy from the Admonter heating plant supplies the entire office and factory premises of the Admonter Holzindustrie. Thanks to the connection to the local district heating network, the entire Benedictine Abbey of Admont and around 200 households in Admont are also supplied.
The Admonter Holzindustrie is proud to be a pioneer in the industry and to make a positive contribution to climate protection. The re-awarding of the Austrian Ecolabel once again recognises the company's tireless commitment to a greener future.
