The multimedia rooms in the museum of Admont Abbey
Since 2003, Admont Abbey Museum has had three multimedia rooms designed by Peter Hans Felzmann.
Multimedia relaunch at Admont Abbey - A new experience of the path of St Benedict
Immerse yourself in the eventful life of the order's founder Benedict of Nursia and experience how the centuries-old "Regula Benedicti" became a modern compass of values - presented in an exciting, understandable and captivating way. Two multimedia experience rooms at Admont Benedictine Abbey bring history and spirituality to life:
- The first room tells the life of St Benedict - impressively and atmospherically.
- The second room explains the "Regula Benedicti", which is considered the cornerstone of many European constitutions, in a modern, entertaining way.
Technically and in terms of content newly staged
After 20 years of operation, the multi-award-winning rooms - honoured with the State Prize for Multimedia - have been brought up to date. Modern LED technology, newly edited film material, updated content and subtle architectural interventions create a fresh sense of space with depth and style.
Experience with added value
Whether historical reviews, spiritual impulses or insights into today's monastic life - here, knowledge is conveyed emotionally, remains in the memory and is simply fun.
Experience "The Way of St Benedict" and "The Way of the Rule" - newly conceived, newly designed, unforgettably presented.
