11th Admonter Lautenherbst from 27 - 31 August 2025

After the big anniversary year 2024, which was celebrated together with Admont Abbey, the Admont Lute Autumn is now entering its 11th edition. From 27 to 31 August 2025, Admont will once again be dedicated to early music.

Founded by Dagmar Fischer-Riedel in October 2013, the Admonter Lautenherbst has become a fixture in the Austrian cultural calendar in recent years.

The initiative to sustainably anchor early music in the Upper Styrian region bears fruit year after year: international artists and participants from all over the world come together to make music, learn and perform in the unique atmosphere of Admont Benedictine Abbey.

Workshops and masterclasses on historical lute instruments, viola da gamba and singing (solo and in ensembles) form the centrepiece of the event. As always, the musical highlight will be two public concerts, to which you are cordially invited...
