Perpetual profession of frater Petrus Dreyhaupt OSB

Last Sunday, we were delighted to celebrate the perpetual (solemn) profession of Fr Peter Dreyhaupt. In the presence of his family, friends and companions, he took the Benedictine vows of constancy, monastic life and obedience during a festive service. We are delighted that he has taken this step and wish him God's rich blessing for his work as a Benedictine monk in Admont!

From the abbot's sermon:
Dear Frater Petrus,
You have your advantages in your consistency, in school, in your parish competence, which is now deepening, in your scientific work and thinking, which brings with it a healthy critical attitude.
Frater Peter, many blessings and may you be a blessing. Amen
