Location & arrival

The museum workshop is located on the 1st floor of the museum and is therefore in the immediate vicinity of the world famous abbey library with its more than 70,000 books. It is accessible without barriers.

If you are traveling to Admont for the first time, getting here by rented bus is just as feasible as taking the train or public bus. The bus parking lot is located in close proximity to the museum and is free of charge. For those arriving by public transportation, it's best to inquire with the "Verbundlinie" for information.

Entrance fees & costs

The entry to the museum workshop is free for school groups. However, a material fee of €5.00 per child must be paid. If you would like to visit other exhibition areas with your class during your visit under the supervision of the accompanying teaching staff, an additional admission ticket must be purchased at the current student rate. Here, the regulation allows for 2 supervisors to enter free of charge, or the legally required number of accompanying persons.
