Together for a successful future worth living

Together for a successful future worth living

The Benedictine Abbey of Admont is known far beyond the region's borders as a cultural and spiritual centre and is a magnet for tourists, culture lovers and believers alike. For the Admont region, however, the abbey with its diverse businesses is also an indispensable, agile economic and creative driving force.

Through successful, sustainable management, the Stiftsbetriebe create and secure numerous attractive jobs in the region in a wide range of sectors.

A "look into the heart" of the abbey's operations

As a "company like any other", the Stiftsbetriebe bear responsibility for entrepreneurial organisation and economic success. Nevertheless, the centuries-long, deep roots with the region, with nature and the people can be felt at every turn. The passionate desire to shape a future worth living is also lived by the employees: this is also visible in the current employer branding campaign, which allows you to "look into the heart" of the Stiftsbetriebe and gain an insight into everyday working life.

Apprentice training is also part of our regional organisation

There are now 13 different apprenticeships on offer at the abbey. From forestry technician, which has become a very popular apprenticeship, to apprenticeships in the nursery and the flower shop, to apprenticeships in the training workshops of Admonter AG.

We are constantly developing our apprenticeship training programme, young people are our potential skilled workers of tomorrow and therefore apprenticeship training is extremely important to us, says Sabine Stachl, who is responsible for human resources in the abbey's operations.

The challenges in the area of human resources are becoming ever greater: employee recruitment and, subsequently, employee satisfaction in companies has now become a central issue in companies. Transparent communication and co-determination are becoming increasingly important for employees.

Jobs with purpose: active designers welcome

From forestry operations, the abbey kitchen and social areas to energy management and tourism operations: If you want to help shape the Admont region in a sustainable way and have a fulfilling and meaningful job, you will find numerous opportunities at the abbey operations.
